After much activity we are thrilled to announce that Wal is now back in action, with the original specifications and fanatical attention to detail as before.


Electric Wood, led by Paul Herman, who worked with Wal and Pete for over 18 years, brings you the quality, the playability, the exotic woods, and the sheer excitement of these beautiful instruments once again.


This new website has been created to give you an insight into Wal bass production, how the pedigree of the Wal bass developed, how the basses are made, and how the electronics work to produce the unique Wal bass sound.


We would like to thank all the loyal Wal followers for their patience and support whilst getting Wal basses back on track.
